Endings

Our lives are all just a bunch of beginnings and endings. We are born,we live, we evolve, we grow, we eat, sleep, shit, we do everything and then we die.And that very same day thousands of others are born and they live, eat, sleep and they die as well, and for each one of them thousands of others are born and so on and so forth.... Everything that exists must come to an end, each atom, each corner of our galaxy, each piece of physical matter or abstract thought ends at some point after it begins.

Some endings are happy, most of them are sad. Some are as easy as "see you tomorrow" others are as hard and smelly as the heavy silence of guilt. There are endings that people do not notice as they have no value, like the ending of a low budget movie, or the bottom of an empty beer as, fuck it, you will get another one.And then there are endings that people do not understand how destructive they are until they actually happen. It is mostly because people do not want to understand, they think that they will have water forever, but you never miss the water until it's gone, right?

Endings are that feeling that you have when you're left alone, endings are the betrayed friendship, endings are  the last M&M in the bag. They are mostly something that you do not want to happen as you get accustomed to things, tastes, sounds and each discrepancy out of that means suffering. A discrepancy called "the end" means endless suffering as there is no more whatever you wanted to last or whatever you built through time, oh so vigorously. When that end comes you curse, you cry, you laugh, you threaten to kill everyone, but the end is inevitable and precise. It does not matter if you worked hard or not, if you are black or white, if you are a good person or the most screwed up human being ever, endings do not care, they happen and you are left there to deal with the rest of your life.

So what do we do with endings? How do we survive them? Well as captain obvious would say "there is one ending we cannot survive, and that is death." Thank you captain obvious, your work is done here, but what do we do with those that we do survive? How do we deal with the pain? I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I really have no answer to that.....except that time heals everything, and until then, you will simply have to bite your tongue and endure.

For what is worth what happens between the beginning and the end might leave you with some memories which if they're good might help you out.If not....well, better forget everything as soon as you can, as it will only get worse through time.As for me.....ironically enough endings remind me of the beginning of "Tale of two cities" by Charles Dickens :
It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to heaven, we were all going direct the other way...

For me endings mark periods of many things good and bad. Is this really the end? Or is it just a new beginning? A new reality? I don't know, cause, who am I to say?
